It’s no secret, I love food and I love to eat out. I got curious the other day and decided to find out what other people in Wenatchee thought the best restaurants in Wenatchee were. So, I did something I have never done, I went to Yelp to see what the top 5 are.
Counting down from the bottom.

This building goes back to the days when it was part of a lumber yard. Then in the 70’s the building was renovated and became a dance club and then a series of restaurants. It’s been years since I have eaten there so I guess I need to give them a try.

I am no stranger here. I prefer the ribs and pulled pork sandwich but the real deal for me is the brisket poutine. The brisket poutine way more than one normal person can eat so I suggest it as an appetizer for several people. I love it but one warning, it does not travel well. The fries tend to get soggy after a night in the fridge.

I have not yet tried them but I love sea food so I need to put them on my list.

 2: McGlinn’s Public House, www.mcglinns.com , 111 Orondo Ave Wenatchee, WA 98801

It’s been a while since the last time I had lunch or dinner at McGlinn’s but the kitchen has always been excellent. I can’t remember a time when McGlinn’s was not there.

My only experience with Wild Huckleberry has been breakfast and that was a few years ago. I remember it being verry good. The Wild Huckleberry in downtown Wenatchee resides in a classic home that was built in 1917 and now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Also look for them in Peshastin, and Pybus Public Market.

Sure, you could listen to that classic LP again. Or you could give some of these records a spin.
