There’s yet another round-about coming to the Wenatchee Valley, more specifically to Easy Street. Infact, seems like Easy Street end of town in Wenatchee is getting a whole facelift! Pretty cool to see all the progress. And have you noticed all the progress on the new PUD building?!

I know it is so simple, but sometimes the purest joy in life is simple and easy. The dog running and playing. The kid bouncing on the trampoline. The smell of food grilling and the sounds of laughter and conversation of good friends, family and loved ones in your happy space.

Right now I am desperately missing riding my bike on the Apple Capital Recreation Loop Trail, or as us 509 locals call it The Loop. It is a bicycle and pedestrian trail in Wenatchee, WA. It follows 10 miles of the west and east shores of the Columbia River.

I have touched base on things “I have yet to do” in the Wenatchee Valley, and it’s quit the list, a list of super fun things to do, and I fully intend on accomplishing said items. But I have done some pretty sweet things in the valley that maybe you need to try/do as well!

A highlight for me was last year in 2022. After the Wenatchee Pride Festival in Wenatchee they had a karaoke event at the Numerica Performing Arts Center. I got to perform on stage at the PAC in front of a wild crowd and it was exhilarating! Easily the best karaoke I have ever done in my life.

Now, I’ve lived in the Wenatchee Valley for going on 15yrs. You’d think by now, that I have done just about anything you can do in the valley. Truth is, I haven’t, and I really need to get out more cause this area really provides some fun activities! I would drive around the barren streets of Wenatchee. Everything felt so quiet and empty, minus the sounds of Dua Lipa blaring from my speakers. I spent a lot of time riding my bike around the Apple Capital Recreation Loop Trail with my AirPods in. Dua Lipa helped keep me motivated and moving.
