Food for Super Bowl parties to me is intimidating. I think the best way to cater a Super Bowl party is to make it a potluck. That way everyone brings their “go-to” dish and we all win, (unless it’s green Jello salad). My go-to will always be take-out.

I like to bring pizza, something with a thin crust from Pizza Hut. Abby’s Pizza, 702 Grant Rd, East Wenatchee, https://abbys.com/ is also a favorite for me because if you ask for it you can get Linguiça sausage. A delicious pork sausage from Portugal.

Wings are good but not my personal favorite, Chips, dips, and your basic veggie platter are also not so special. You can go to Cost Co. and buy a bag of meatballs and toss them in a crock pot with Bar B Q Sause, that’s a winner. KFC is a good option. A couple of buckets of chicken and some sides will always be welcome at any potluck event.

Speaking of meatballs, I like the meatballs you can now get at Papa Murphy’s. You do have to bake them but they come in their own container with marinara sauce and some mozzarella. You just preheat your oven, put the container on a cookie sheet uncovered, and 25 minutes later they are done and delicious. Look, for me, it’s what's for dinner.

So, what am I going to do? I think I’ll do the Meatballs from Papa Murphy’s for Super Bowl Sunday.

But right now, I think I need an Abby’s Pepperoni and Linguiça Pizza. That’s dinner and lunch the next day.
