I love my hometown. I’m a huge music fan and have over 1000 vinyl records. I’m out playing all the time in the summer and hibernate like a bear in the winter. My brain is a steel trap of pop culture references.
GET YOUR KIDS OUTSIDE IN WENATCHEE THIS SPRING
Life was more fun when I was a kid. It was the 1980’s and I lived in an apple orchard. After school, I walked home alone. While I waited for mom to get home from work, I climbed trees and crawled through tunnels
How do I feel about these Best Picture nominees
The Oscars are this Sunday March 12th. Every year I try to watch as many of the best picture nominees as possible. It was a much easier feat when there used to only be 5 nominations. Now every year there are 10. It can be a daunting task. I have done fairly well this year,
I have been trying to figure out how I want it styled for quite some time. We have put in new floors. I have hung various posters. I have pop culture figurines. A karaoke system. Classic video game systems. It’s a mish mash of things I love and enjoy. The wall decorations have always been lacking. I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do.
I Love My East Wenatchee Backyard!
I know it is so simple, but sometimes the purest joy in life is simple and easy. The dog running and playing. The kid bouncing on the trampoline. The smell of food grilling and the sounds of laughter and conversation of good friends, family and loved ones in your happy space.
Missing the Wenatchee Apple Capital Recreation Loop Trail

AARON MITCHELL’S BEST ALBUMS: DUA LIPA – FUTURE NOSTALGIA PART 2
A highlight for me was last year in 2022. After the Wenatchee Pride Festival in Wenatchee they had a karaoke event at the Numerica Performing Arts Center. I got to perform on stage at the PAC in front of a wild crowd and it was exhilarating! Easily the best karaoke I have ever done in my life.
Aaron Mitchell’s Best Albums: Dua Lipa – Future Nostalgia part 1
I would drive around the barren streets of Wenatchee. Everything felt so quiet and empty, minus the sounds of Dua Lipa blaring from my speakers. I spent a lot of time riding my bike around the Apple Capital Recreation Loop Trail with my AirPods in. Dua Lipa helped keep me motivated and moving.
Wenatchee Local Aaron Mitchell’s Best Albums Ever: The Beatles – Abbey Road
My 1st introduction to the album was as a kid growing up in Manson and Lake Chelan. I had Abbey Road on cassette tape. I would put it in my walkman and ride my bike around downtown Manson. Cementing my love for The Beatles forever.
Aaron’s Best Albums Ever: My Chemical Romance – The Black Parade
I am going to do a series of my favorite albums of all time. I figured the best place to start was with what might be my favorite album of all time. Ask me any given day and it could 1 of a few different albums, but My Chemical Romance – The Black Parade will always be in the top 5.
How to Start a Union: Part 2
The steps to unionizing are simple, though the process can be fraught with stress and panic as your employer will likely fight back and may attempt to illegally retaliate against organizers. Remember that there are laws against this and your employer can be held accountable in a court of law.
